In a landmark land auction in Hyderabad, a 7.67-acre plot at Raidurg in the city’s bustling IT corridor fetched an astonishing ₹1,358 crore, translating to ₹177 crore per acre, the highest ever in Telangana.
The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) conducted the auction on October 7, which attracted 12 bidders, underscoring Hyderabad’s booming real estate and investment appeal.
Another 11-acre parcel at Raidurg was sold for ₹1,556.5 crore, averaging ₹141.5 crore per acre, making it one of India’s most expensive land deals.
According to officials, these auctions are expected to generate incidental revenues, including registration fees and stamp duties, amounting to nearly ₹3,135 crore.
Experts note that Raidurg’s strategic location, with proximity to HITEC City and excellent connectivity, has positioned it as a prime destination for marquee commercial developments.
The government said this record-breaking auction reflects the vision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu in building a transparent, investor-friendly Telangana.
With this deal, Hyderabad reinforces its dominance as one of India’s premier investment hubs, attracting global interest in its rapidly growing real estate market.
